Gluten Free Angel Food Cake Mix $5.99 by Amanda Patterson Date Added: Monday 23 July, 2012 I bought 3 mixes...the taste was always great and looked great as I mixed it, stiff peaks and all, rose 3 inches. The last one was in a 7\" pan and I wanted it to be the same height as number two (I was making a two tier wedding cake for myself) so I only spooned batter in as deep as cake 2. Needless to say it almost rose out of the pan! The cake all tasted great but the mix price seems high considering you must add 1 1/2 cups of egg whites (that was a full dozen for me).
